Unlike the Gross Floor Area (GFA), the Statistical Gross Floor Area (SGFA) is ‘the aggregate of the floor areas of all the storeys, including basements, in all of the buildings in a development’, as defined by the BCA.
The BCA and the SCDF require development proposals to include the SGFA calculations.
